ABOUT THE ONAGRA OIL

Evening Primrose Oil is extracted from the seeds of the plant Oenothera biennis (commonly called Evening Primrose), native to North America. Its yellow flowers only bloom at dusk, hence its name (Evening Primrose). The oil extracted from this plant contains gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an omega-6 fatty acid that has beneficial properties that are much sought after, mainly by women in premenstrual and menopause situations.
